Zion Williamson has proved throughout his opening 14 games in the NBA he’s built differently to other rookies in the league.
His frame is more suited to an NFL linebacker instead of a first year professional basketball player, but Williamson uses it to his advantage.

The New Orleans Pelicans took the rising superstar with the first pick in the NBA Draft and he’s already paying off their faith.
On Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers he wrote his name into NBA record books as he became the first teenager in the history of the game to record 10 straight games scoring 20 or more points.
The Pelicans won the contest 116-104 to make it six wins from their past eight games.

The record-breaking achievement from Williamson eclipses the previous mark which was set by Carmelo Anthony on nine games.
Williamson has helped lead the charge for the Pelicans as they make a push for a playoff berth.
Currently sitting in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, the Pelicans sit 2.5 games behind the eighth placed Memphis Grizzlies.
“This is everything I envisioned (from lottery night). Making a push for the playoffs, the energy from the crowd. You’ve just got to shout out the city for that. People always show love,” Williamson said after the win.
The feats achieved by Williamson have him sitting in some rare air as he also becomes just the fifth player in history to register at least 12 20-point games in his first 14 games. Joining George Mikan, Wilt Chambelain, Elvin Hayes and Terry Cummings.
Pelicans say Zion Williamson now has 20 points in 10 consecutive contests, the first rookie since Donovan Mitchell to do so, and just the fourth rookie since 2000 to have a 10-game streak with 20 points, joining Mitchell, Joel Embiid and Blake Griffin.

Williamson’s dominance has him charging towards stealing the Rookie of the Year trophy away from Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant.
Morant looked the runaway winner of the award, but since Williamson made his debut the narrative has shifted in his direction.
The two favourites to claim the honour will also find themselves locked in a playoff battle as the postseason draws closer.
