Green took aim at Barkley last week during a media appearance, labelling the Hall of Famer not worthy of sitting at a table with him.
“Barkley should stop (talking about me) before I go take his job, though,” Draymond told reporters.
“Because I can do that well, too. He needs that job so he should stop talking (about) me.
“I have a tendency to end people, so he should stop before I take his job. If he keeps talking, I’ll take it soon. Sooner than he thinks. So he probably should be quiet.
“He also can’t talk basketball with me. Not smart enough, not qualified, no rings — can’t sit at this table.”
But in true Barkley fashion, he didn’t take the criticism from Green lying down and returned serve in devastating style.
Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Barkley sunk the boots in to the Golden State Warriors forward.
“My job is safe. Draymond Green is a nice guy. I like Draymond, and he’s a good player,” he said.
“But you know what he is? He’s like the guy in a boy band who’s the least important member, and he thinks the crowd is cheering for him. He doesn’t realise he’s standing next to Justin Timberlake.
“He’s the least-famous person in the boy band, and he thinks he’s the star, and he’s not … he thinks all the girls are screaming for him.
“And like, no, they’re screaming for Justin Timberlake, you’re just in the band. Enjoy being in the band, because you’re never going to have any hit singles.
“But he’s a nice guy, I like messing with him. First of all, he don’t have a face for TV. He’s got a face for radio, so he’s not going to get my TV gig.”

The beef between the two has been going on for years and while we’re fully expecting Green to bite back at Barkley’s latest comments in some way, it’s safe to say the Hall of Famer comfortably won this round.
