Jelena Dokic has found love in a new relationship

After falling on dark times when her last relationship ended, the former tennis star has shared the happy news that she’s found love again.

Four years after the heartbreak of her last relationship ending, Jelena Dokic has found love again.

Dokic took to social media to pay tribute to her new man, believed to be Yane Veselinov who is a hospitality operations manager.

“You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you.”

The former tennis ace didn’t name her new partner but posted a love heart and a picture of them both all smiles.

On Instagram his bio says he’s a “food and wine enthusiast, pleasure seeker and life enjoyer”.

At the end of 2021, her long-term relationship with Tin Bikic came to a sad end.

The 42-year-old admitted she was a mess after their nearly 19-year romance ran its course and has detailed the “scars, pain and hurt”.

Many followers were thrilled for Dokic on Monday, who also has her glow back after going through a recent lifestyle overhaul and shedding more than 20kg.

Dokic, whose story of surviving domestic violence and abuse is told in the documentary Unbreakable, has always worked towards finding her happiness.

She announced in May that her estranged father and former coach Damir had died.

In January 2022 Dokic gave a raw update after her relationship breakdown.

“This is hard, I am in pain, I am hurt, I am lost and right now it’s all about just being able to get out of bed in the morning and putting one foot in front of the other,’’ she wrote on social media.

“Sometimes these things happen, people grow apart and it’s for the best.

“I would be lying if I said I was doing well, but I will give it my absolute all to heal and recover and process this pain and trauma and if nothing else I will die trying.

“I gave this relationship my all, my heart and soul and I fought so hard till the end but ultimately it wasn’t enough this time, but I am hopeful that there is still happiness and love somewhere out there waiting for me.”

Dokic has since admitted she put up walls after her life was shattered and wondered if she’d be alone forever.

But she has bounced back and just wowed viewers while working during Wimbledon.

After previously battling an eating disorder, she took to Instagram to reveal she was baffled by the constant body-shaming she cops — even now that she’s slimmed down from a size 20 to a size 10.

“Isn’t it unbelievable how some people are so mean and how some parts of our society are so unkind?’’ Dokic wrote.

“When I was a size 20 someone always complained, and now that I am a size 10 someone is always complaining too. It baffles me how there is always some troll, bully or unkind person out there that has to comment or put someone down.”

Dokic said she’d simply made better choices: “I stopped eating late at night, especially burgers, pizza, fries and desserts.”
