The numbers are in and a quartet of players stand out on the statistic sheet heading into round four of Super Rugby U16s and U19s. Leading points scorers, try scorers, tacklers and statistical stars here.

The numbers are in heading into the fourth round of Super Rugby U16s and U19s and there’s some interesting reading and a number of inform players standing head and shoulders above their rivals.

The NSW Waratahs, who like the Brumbies and Reds have played two matches while the Brumbies and Rebels have played three each, lead both age groups and it’s little wonder when you throw your eye over the statistics after three rounds of competition.

There are numerous stars and standouts on the stats sheets with Darcy Feltham just one in the Waratahs U16 side taking on the ACT Brumbies in Sydney on Saturday.

Feltham has been a revelation this season and in his first two games has collected an extraordinary 25 points.

This is just one better than teammate Saxon Gaw with 24.

The nearest to these two Waratahs young guns is Thomas Jensen from the Brumbies with 15 points.

Feltham also leads the try scorer list with his tally of five in two games.

A host of other players have nailed doubles including Agapetos Lote-Felo from the Reds, Aston Weir from the Waratahs, BJ Pumpa from the ACT Brumbies, Dozion Laupama from Western Force, Harry Whitaker from the Waratahs, Hemi Rakuita from the Reds, Jarryd King from the Waratahs, Lewis Brinkworth from the Rebels, Oliver Smith from the Waratahs, Ratu Ifereimi Tuibua from the Rebels, Rudolph Johannesburg Van der Merwe from Western Force and Tomas Jensen from the Brumbies

When it comes to goal kicking Saxon Gaw has the busiest boot.

He has nailed 12 from 16 at a high 75 per cent accuracy for his 24 points.

His Waratahs teammate Talen Risati is the second most prolific with five from eight for his 10 points with Samson Tuaine from the Rebels kicking four from six to be in third place.

The tough tackling Brumbies dominate the successful tackles list with Ben Visagie on 34, Tobias Comito on 30 and BJ Pumper on 23 with Brinkworth from the Rebels.

Halaliku Lauhingoa from the Rebels has made the most carries with 38.

He has also run the most metres with a whopping 358.7 ahead of Aidan Wunsh from the Brumbies with 294.6 and Jensen from the Brumbies at 291.7.

Waratah’s gun Feltham is in fifth place with 252.3 and also sits in second place in the line breaks category with five behind Tuibua from the Rebels with six.

In the Under 19 competition where the Waratahs are also undefeated, country player Sid Harvey leads the points tally with a massive 37 from his first two games.

Teammate Liam Grover is second on 25 with Western Forces Boston Fakafanua third with 20 along with Newcastle gun Brendan Palmer from the Waratahs.

Grover moves up to the top position in tries scored with his five ahead of Fakafanua and Palmer’s four.

Harvey, who has played 158 minutes, is the standout kicker in the competition with 15 from 20 at a high 75 per cent accuracy.

The second most prolific is Henry James from Force with eight from 11, and Brumbies gun Sam McLachlan with seven from nine.

Joe Nathan Ryan from the Brumbies leads the successful tackles list with a whopping 47 ahead of Charlie Brosnan from the Reds with 30 and Xander Iosefo from the Rebels with 28.

The Rebels Corey Leumage-Chan has made 29 carries with Beau Morrison from the Brumbies and Ben Playford from the Rebels both making 25.

Grover and Palmer have run the most meters at 402 and 360.7 respectively

Grover has also made the most offloads with five with teammate Austin Durbridge and Iosefo from the Rebels with four breakdown steals.

Eamon Doyle from the Waratahs has collected four lineout steals with Ryan from the Brumbies playing 240 minutes ahead of Playford from the Rebels on 239.

Going into round four the Waratahs are undefeated with two wins from two matches in the U16s competition.

In the 19 competition, the Brumbies have played three matches for two wins while the Waratahs are undefeated in their two games.

In round four the Waratahs will take on the Brumbies at Pittwater Rugby on Saturday.
