Mega Gallery: It was wet and wild at times but there was great action – and photographs – at the NSW Junior Athletics championships. Check out the pictures here.

The best young athletic talent in the state was on show at the three-day 2022 NSW Junior championships at Sydney Olympic Park.

There were speedsters, high flyers, field guns and distance athletes all working overtime for state titles and PB’s

Photographer Julian Andrews was in the thick of it, capturing the action of our rising stars of the sport and others who are chasing spots at upcoming championships, including the Commonwealth Games and world juniors.

And there were some wonderful moments captured showing not just the effort and determinations of these youngsters but also their good sportsmanship and camaraderie with each other.
