Tokyo Olympics day 11: Aussie snaps 33-year boxing hoodoo

Australian Harry Garside has done the unthinkable with an incredible war ending Australia's horror boxing drought.

It's been a massive night for our teams with Australia's beach volleyballers and the Boomers into the semis and the Kookaburras into the final. 

But today will be remembered for perhaps the most mind-blowing athletics performance since Usain Bolt dramatically lowered the 100m world record.

Norway's 400m hurdler Karsten Warholm took an "impossible" chunk off his own world mark to win gold and stun the world.
