NTFA: Every clubs’ recruits, re-signings for 2026
It’s been a busy off-season across the NTFA with clubs loading up with their new recruits. Get every side’s signings and re-signings thus far here.
Scottsdale has been the aggressors after landing two former AFL players, including an All-Australian, but other NTFA clubs have hit the ground running in player signing silly season.

PREMIER LEAGUE
NORTH LAUNCESTON
This year’s unbeaten premiers will have a new man at the helm next season, with Allan O’Sign confirmed as Adrian Smith’s replacement.
O’Sign, a former Bombers captain and two-time premiership player in 2014-15, will lead a time of transition after Smith’s decision to join Tasmania’s VFL team as an assistant.
Michael Stingel and Brandon Leary (VFL), Jack Avent (Rocherlea), Alex Lee (Latrobe) and Bailey Mitchell (Bridgenorth) have also moved on, while club legend Brad Cox-Goodyer is also near certain to join the VFL ranks.
O’Sign is a Bombers life member and has previously coached at George Town.
Senior player Jacob Kerr has also been appointed O’Sign’s senior assistant coach.
SCOTTSDALE
Recruits
Zac Dolliver: Dolliver arrives from the ACT where he played for Belconnen and Woden Blues. A strongly built half forward with good skills.
Daniel Rich: Scottsdale pulled off a major coup by signing the former Brisbane Lion and 2021 All Australian for next season.
The 35-year-old will play exclusively for the Magpies and will play a minimum of five games, plus finals should they qualify.
“Hopefully this is the first domino, and we can get another few to fall pretty quickly,” coach Rickie Dolliver said after Rich’s signing earlier this month.
Ben McNiece: The defender, who played 15 AFL games for Essendon from 2017-19, adds quality to Scottsdale’s back half.

Jarrod Scott: The former Kangaroos captain and two-time best and fairest winner has taken some time away from the club, but his return will provide valuable class and experience as Deloraine looks to rebuild.
Ben Smith: Smith arrives at the Roos after stints with Bracknell and Wesley Vale.
Oliver Jones: A former under-18s NTFA best and fairest with George Town and gives the Roos another big body.
Tait Highet: After four seasons away at NWFA clubs Motton Preston and Spreyton, Highet returns to the Roos and will add options to their midfield and forward set ups.
Boden Stokes: Former Roo Stokes returns to the fold after a season playing for Sheffield.
Flynn Tueon: Tueon has signed from Forth, where he played well enough to break into the NWFA representative team.

Jaidyn Harris: A member of Hillwood’s grand final side this year, the defender has played in the NTFA’s representative side in three of the past four years. Previously at Longford before this year, and won a flag at the Tigers in 2022.
Samuel Blackberry: Blackberry ended a long injury hiatus win Noosa Tigers in the QAFL reserves the past two years.
Sam Mayne: Mayne joins from South Launceston where the defender played a mix of seniors and reserves.
Will Fletcher: Fletcher captained Queensland team Sherwood this year and has previous VFL and NEAFL experience with Brisbane Lions and Aspley.
He is a five-time best and fairest winner at Sherwood, a five-time member of the QAFL team of the year and was also skipper for Queensland’s win against Tasmania at Latrobe earlier this year.
Keiren Mullins: Mullins has been recruited from Scottsdale where he played reserves and seniors.
Bradley Dodds: Dodds arrives at Bridport after he was the league’s leading goalkicker in South Launceston’s flag last year.
The previous season he made the NTFA division one team of the year at St Pats.
Brannen Marinkovic: The inside midfielder has signed from George Town.
Austin Maynard: Maynard won George Town’s senior best and fairest in 2021, and returns to football after a couple of years out of the game.
