With Origin wreaking havoc regarding team lists, several clubs will be forced to dig deep into their lower grades to fill the gaps this weekend.

In the biggest team news so far:

* Despite leaving the loss to the Tigers early Sam Burgess was confirmed to be fit to play against Parramatta on Friday.

“Initially I thought I had broken my collarbone,” Burgess said on Tuesday.

“My arm went dead right away, right down to my fingers.

“I have had two reconstructions in my right shoulder, it is probably just some old scarring in there and some nerves that were upset a little bit.

“But I will be right for this weekend. I trained today and I will be out there Friday night.” Burgess suffered the injury in the first half of the loss to the Tigers last Friday night and didn’t return.

* Dylan Walker’s Origin recall and injuries to Daly Cherry-Evans and Jamie Lyon mean the Sea Eagles will have to find some rookie halves for their clash with the Titans. Samoan international Pita Godinet is expected to fill the gap.

* The Rabbitohs are similarly depleted after losing Adam Reynolds and Greg Inglis to Origin.

* Liam Knight could be given his first grade debut in place of the injured Nate Myles.

* Nathan Peats could start his first game for the Titans in place of Greg Bird.

KENT: Why are Blues loyal to losing?

BUZZ: Daley should be applauded

Rabbitohs v Eels

7:50pm Friday at ANZ Stadium

Rabbitohs: Sam Burgess will be fit after hurting his collarbone against the Tigers. Bryson Goodwin’s fractured arm will rule him out for the foreseeable future and Kyle Turner is expected to replace him in the back row. With Greg Inglis and Adam Reynolds both named for Origin II, Luke Keary is expected to partner either Cody Walker or Damien Cook in the halves. If Walker is moved from fullback Alex Johnston would take his place.

Eels: With Michael Jennings out due to Origin Vai Toutai is tipped to jump straight in at right centre.

Dragons v Storm

7:30pm Saturday at WIN Stadium

Dragons: Josh Dugan is next to no chance of being a late inclusion but could return next week. Jack de Belin is expected to move back into the starting side at lock with Mike Cooper pushing to prop and Russell Packer to the bench.

Storm: Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk are off to Origin which means the returning Blake Green will slot straight in at halfback while Kenny Bromwich will deputise at hooker. Former Panther and Rooster Nafe Seluini could be in for his Storm debut off the bench.

Blake Green is expected to make his return for the Storm.

Warriors v Roosters

4:00pm Sunday at Mt Smart Stadium

Warriors: Jacob Lillyman is out due to Origin and James Gavet or Ligi Sao are in the frame to replace him. Manu Vatuvei’s hamstring problem will see him replaced by either Ken Maumalo or Jono Wright.

Roosters: Aidan Guerra and Blake Ferguson are both out due to Origin and the Roosters are hopeful they’ll be replaced by Isaac Liu and Shaun Kenny-Dowall.

Titans v Sea Eagles

7:00pm Monday at CBUS Super Stadium

Titans: Greg Bird is the Titans sole Origin rep and he’ll be replaced in the starting side by either Nathan Peats or Agnatius Paasi. If Konrad Hurrell isn’t fit he’ll be replaced by Nathan Davis.

Sea Eagles: Dylan Walker’s recall to Origin will likely see Samoan international Pita Godinet back into first grade. Despite only joining the club in the weeks before the season began, Godinet has been handed the captaincy of the Sea Eagles NSW Cup side. The injury to Nate Myles could open the door for Liam Knight to make his first grade debut.
