FULLBACK	James Tedesco7Didn’t see the turbo-charged Tedesco because of the conditions but still plenty to like about his first game back from injury. Busted tackles and featured in a couple of Tigers tries and scored one himself.
Daniel Tupou7Defence not great but did what wingers should do in wet conditions – give the forwards a hand. Had 18 carries for 176 metres.	WING	David Nofoaluma6.5Scored a try right on halftime and involved himself as much as he could under the conditions.
Mitchell Aubusson6.5Didn’t get too many chances with the footy but defence on right edge was faultless.	CENTRE	Tim Simona6Got himself in the right spot to score his side’s opening try but not much to write home about after that.
Dale Copley6.5First game back from a long injury spell and not a lot to do in the conditions apart from defend. Did a good job on Naiqama.	CENTRE	Kevin Naiqama5Made some terrible decisions in the defence and no impact at all with the footy.
Blake Ferguson6.5A mixed bag from the Blues winger but acted quickly to cover up well when cracks appeared at the back end.	WING	Josh Addo-Carr6Not a day for fleet-footed wingers but despite one dropped ball, still acquitted himself okay.
Ryan Matterson7.5Has a touch of class and showed it in this game. Great pass for Ferguson try and a real find for the Roosters.	5/8	Mitchell Moses7Threw some lovely passes, came up with a few decent kicks and worked hard in defence but needed to run more. Ran just once in 80 minutes for 10 metres.
Jackson Hastings7Much maligned but handled the conditions perfectly. Kicking game kept Tigers under pressure.	H/BACK	Luke Brooks6.5Hardly sighted in the first 40 but improved in second half. Not influential enough though to make a real difference.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves8.5On report but had an absolute stormer. Intimidating, aggressive and set the standard for his side from his first hit-up.	PROP	Aaron Woods7Just what he needed after a tough Origin game. Had a rampaging Waerea-Hargreaves to contend with and came off second best.
Jake Friend8Outstanding game from the skipper. All aspects from his passing to his defence to his tactical kicking were first class.	HOOKER	Elijah Taylor7.5Big defensive workload but wasted at dummy half. Tigers looked better in attack when he shifted a pass or two off the ruck in the second 40.
Dylan Napa7.5Played a great support role to his frontrow partner. Some big hits and defence and plenty of tough carries of the football.	PROP	Ava Seumanufagai6Strong early but didn’t see a lot of footy overall and struggled with the power of his rival props.
Sio Siua Taukeiaho6.5Not a huge work load but still a big contributor kicking six from six goals in the ordinary conditions.	2ND ROW	Kyle Lovett6Defended strongly but has been stronger with the footy in other games.
Aidan Guerra7Quiet first half but came into his own in the second. Showed his skill with the footy with his pass for Watson try to wrap up the win.	2ND ROW	Chris Lawrence7A typical Lawrence performance. Some strong carries and defence effort good.
Isaac Liu2.5Lasted just nine minutes before an ankle injury disappointingly ended his day.	LOCK	Josh Aloiai4.5Hardly sighted and next to no impact in the game.
Sam Moa7.5A couple of trademark Moa charges and plenty of energy. Strong impact from the bench.	I/CHANGE	Sauaso Sue6Caught the eye with a few strong carries when he came on but hardly influential.
Kane Evans6Thrown into the game early and troubled the Tigers defence on a few occasions.	I/CHANGE	Dene Halatau5.5Came on at dummy half and worked hard in defence.
Connor Watson7Fantastic after coming on for Mitchell at fullback in second half. No self-preservation and lifted the Roosters with his energy.	I/CHANGE	JJ Felise6Tried to make an impact when he was out there but attracted plenty of Roosters defence and was well contained.
Eloni Vunakece4.5Not a lot of game time and little impact other than some decent defence.	I/CHANGE	Michael Chee Kam4Five hit-ups and four tackles was his contribution for the game.
