NRL SuperCoach prices for 2026: Reece Walsh, Keano Kini among bargains

“Why is Reece Walsh so cheap? Isn’t he the best player in the competition?” That was the first reaction when we ran the 2026 prices past a SuperCoach newbie. Here’s why.

SuperCoach NRL 2026 preview! Best cheapies, guns, mid-rangers, and PODs!

Fresh from revealing every player position for 2026, it’s time to talk prices.

The first thing to note is that all prices have been adjusted in accordance with the new salary cap of $11.95 million, which is in line with the actual NRL cap and up slightly from last year’s $11.8 million.

Below we reveal the six player prices set to define 2026, plus keep an eye out for the full price list when the Team Picker launches in mid-late December.

Reece Walsh $835,600

“Why is Reece Walsh so cheap? Isn’t he the best player in the competition?”

That was the first reaction when we ran the 2026 prices past a SuperCoach newbie.

It’s a fair question so we will answer.

Walsh is priced on a season average of 85 and is the fourth most expensive player in the comp.

Many people will think his price is unders given Walsh averaged 135 in his final seven games last season, including SuperCoach Finals.

However, let’s not forget Walsh only averaged 67 before his run to the grand final and he is hardly noted for consistency.

James Tedesco $869,100

So if Reece Walsh isn’t the most expensive player, who is? The answer lies with the ever-reliable Teddy, who produced the best average of any player last season (88.9).

Keano Kini $501,200

The young Titan had an injury-interrupted season so his average of 45 in six games was low compared to previous output. He averaged 72 points in 76 minutes in 2024 and started 2025 at $707,900, so he is a serious bargain this season.

David Fifita $485,300

Fifita started last year at $832,100 but struggled with injury and ended up averaging just 49.6 in 48 minutes. His $485,300 price is a significant discount on his output from previous seasons of 77, 82, 66 and 85. Fifita will no doubt be a SuperCoach popular under new coach Wayne Bennett, but his ongoing ankle injury may scare some off.

Cameron Murray $541,600

The Test and Origin superstar started last year at $649,800 but played just one game due to a serious Achilles injury for a measly 21 points. Player prices are based mainly on their average from last season, but in this instance it would have been unfair to price Murray on his average of just 21 given his output over his previous six seasons of 62, 63, 71, 70, 68 and 69. So in the interest of fairness, we’ve given Murray’s price a bump to ensure he’s enticing but not an automatic buy.

Jonah Pezet $235,600

Sure to be among the most popular cheapies of 2026. He starts near base price after playing only seven games last season at the Storm, mostly off the bench. But he’s now a genuine starting five-eighth chance at the Eels.
