Sunday SuperCoach wrap, Warriors v Raiders: Cut ties with ‘liability’ Corey Horsburgh?

SuperCoaches are questioning whether Corey Horsburgh is a liability, while popular players Joe Tapine and Tom Starling also face nervous waits.

The Canberra Raiders hung on against the New Zealand Warriors in a match that included brain snaps, multiple reports and a thrilling finish.

The Raiders are now into second on the ladder with the Warriors third.

TOM BOSWELL reveals the five things SuperCoaches learned.

1. SuperCoach players who have Corey Horsburgh in their side will be questioning whether the Raiders big man is a liability. Does he need to be replaced? He was put on report and then sent to the sin-bin when Canberra was under pressure. Prop Joe Tapine and hooker Tom Starling are facing nervous waits after being placed on report.

2. It was greasy in Auckland but some errors from both sides were poor. New Zealand made 14 errors while Canberra made 10. Leka Halasima, Chanel Harris-Tavita and Dallin

Watene-Zelezniak made three each for the Warriors. Winger Savelio Tamale was the worst offender for the Raiders, making three errors.

3. Discipline was poor across both teams, with New Zealand conceding seven penalties while Canberra had 11. It compounded the high error-rate and both coaches would be looking to address it post-game.

4. There is just no stopping Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and good luck to any opposition winger who has to try. The Warriors player led the SuperCoach scoring with 76 points in another solid game. He scored a try, had a linebreak, assisted with another and had 18 hit-ups.

5.Jamal Fogarty is as reliable as they come. He scored the second highest SuperCoach points (74) and even scored himself. Meanwhile teammate and fullback Kaeo Weekes played 80 minutes and scored just 28 SC points.
