NRL star stuns with teammate’s sister as relationships in spotlight at Dally Ms

There was as much interest in the red carpet as there was the medal count as the NRL’s biggest names showed off their partners.

Relationships - some old, some new - were the talk of the rugby league world on Wednesday night as the NRL’s biggest names brought their partners to the Dally Ms.

Harry Grant had tongues wagging as he walked the red carpet at the Randwick Racecourse in Sydney with Brooke Loiero - the sister of his Melbourne Storm teammate Trent Loiero.

“Harry bringing Trent’s sister to the Dally Ms,” one person commented on a photo of the pair looking stunning on the NRL’s Instagram page.

Of course for fans in the know, the pair have been dating for several years and attended last year’s glamour night together.

Trent recently spoke about what it’s like to share the same training ground and dinner table with his teammate.

“They’ve been together for a few years and he’s good,” 23-year-old Loiero told AAP. “I’m still the favourite son.”

Another couple in the spotlight were Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes and his new girlfriend Piper Wallis.

Rumours about Hynes, 28, dating the 23-year-old advertising specialist emerged recently - and they went red carpet official on Tuesday night.

Hynes was previously linked to TV presenter Marlee Silva after they attended the ARIA Awards together last year and has also dated beauty entrepreneur Morgan Belier.

Other couples that went viral included Herbie Farnworth and Lily Pickles - who had everyone on social media cracking the same joke.

And Kalyn Ponga and new girlfriend Gaby Dunn also looked glamorous as they attended the event together.

Ponga previously dated soccer player Gabrielle Peak but has been seeing Dunn, a 23-year-old paramedic for several months now.

Dunn soft launched her relationship with the Knights superstar in an understated post on Instagram a few weeks ago, depicting her lounging at a beach with Ponga.

There was also another shot with him planting a kiss on her cheek.
