The NRL has examined video footage of an alleged incident involving Sharks forward Toby Rudolf.
The Sunday Telegraph can reveal that the NRL Integrity Unit received a complaint which alleged Rudolf was involved in a late-night altercation with another man.
The footage, which has been reviewed by both the Cronulla Sharks and the NRL, allegedly shows Rudolf and another man having a heated verbal argument.
The video does not contain any act of physical violence.
It is understood the alleged incident occurred in the city early this month after Rudolf attended a wedding near the city.
The Sharks forward was attempting to enter a taxi when an argument broke out with another man.
An NRL spokesman said that no action will be taken against Rudolf based on the available evidence.
The Sharks reported the incident to the NRL after obtaining the footage, which is understood to have been posted on a social media account.
