‘Jacko!’: Hastings in ANOTHER awkward encounter as Knights playmaker snubs Dolphins star

Just a week after his infamous post-game run-in with Tommy Talau - Jackson Hastings has been filmed in another prickly moment.

Just a week after Jackson’s Hasting’s post-game run-in with Tommy Talau and David Klemmer, he was at the centre of another awkward moment.

Hastings was filthy after the Knights’ 36-20 loss to the Dolphins on Friday and gave hardly any effort when shaking the opposition’s hands.

He didn’t look Sean O’Sullivan in the eye as the young Dolphins No.7 stared right at him when they shook hands.

A stunned O’Sullivan was seen saying ‘Jacko’ as Hastings went to move onto the next player in line.

It wasn’t just O’Sullivan that got the cold shoulder though. He didn’t look Tom Gilbert, Jamayne Isaako or Mark Nicholls in the eye either.

It was a stark contrast to his Knights teammate Mat Croker, who looked the same players in the eye when shaking their hands and hugged them.

It’s understood Hastings wasn’t happy about being forced off the field for a HIA in the 68th minute after a hit from Felise Kaufusi and couldn’t return.

While it was clearly not personal, O’Sullivan looked shocked and wanted to engage in some sort of conversation before Hastings brushed him.

Hastings was at the Roosters up until 2016, while O’Sullivan’s dad was head of recruitment there.

O’Sullivan, 24, arrived to the Roosters from Penrith as a back-up halves option in 2017 when Hastings departed to join Manly.

The snub comes a week after a controversial confrontation with Talau and Klemmer after the Knights’ Round 2 win over the Tigers.

Hastings accidentally broke Talau’s nose while saving a try, sparking a flare-up between the players during the game.

Speaking to Fox League post-game, Hastings said he would apologise to Talau. At the end of the interview he did approach Talau only to be shoved by the young Tiger and then confronted by Klemmer, who stepped in.
