The 34-year-old goal shooter took to social media to share that she had money take from her wallet and that people had been trying to break into their rooms.
“This is so unfortunate, this place isn’t safe,” Fowler wrote on Instagram
“First they stole money from my purse, now people trying to come in on us in our rooms. Really!”
Jamaica are among the favourites to win the World Cup and Fowler is tipped to be one of the standout players.
Asked how the side’s preparations were going just days before the alleged robbery, Fowler said: “We’re just focused on gelling as a team.
“Our aim is to be here til the end and be on that podium but we have to take it one game at a time.
“My mindset and mentality is to just go out there and be strong, be the dominant force that I am.”
