A Tasmania JackJumpers fan favourite is staying put.
The NBL champions have confirmed point guard Jordon Crawford will remain with the club for the 2024-25 season after signing a new one-year deal.
“I loved Tasmania,” he said in an email sent to members.
“Obviously winning the championships but the fans made it much more enjoyable.
“And all the hard work put in by everyone in the club, the guys, coaches and our admit staff.
“It was an easy choice to come back and run it back for another season.”
In his first season with the JackJumpers, Crawford played all 37 games and averaged just over 16 points and 3.2 assists per game.
His 32 points in game five of the Championship Series against Melbourne United were critical to his side’s success.
The JackJumpers have already announced the re-signings of MVP Jack McVeigh (two years), Anthony Drmic (one year) and Majok Deng (two years) this off-season.
Marcus Lee and Lachlan Barker have been confirmed to have departed the club.
Crawford will link up with his JackJumpers teammates for the start of pre-season in August.
