THE rocketing start to 2019 has rolled on for Harry Bourchier, with the Tasmanian tennis star securing his third title of the season.

Bourchier, who shrugged off several years of injury frustration to break through for his maiden Pro Tournament victory in Mornington in March — and backed up a week later at the same venue — has landed his first win outside Australia.

The 23-year-old easily accounted for Maksim Tikhomirov 6-2, 6-3 in the final of the $US15,000 event in Singapore in a result that should see him climb back into the top 400 in the world.

Bourchier dropped just one set all tournament as the top seed on route to the title, dominating his opponent in the final.

He sent down seven aces and landed 70 per cent of his first serves, while breaking Tikhomirov on three occasions.

The victory comes after a semi-final appearance in Thailand a week earlier, and improves his record for the breakout season to 30 wins and eight losses.
