Kingston will head into their round nine clash of the Tasmanian Netball League with a full squad for the first time this season.
The Blues, who have lost three games this season, missed several players out through injury over the opening half of the campaign.
Kingston will take on Hawks in a double-header live and exclusive on KommunityTV from 4pm on Saturday.
Coming off a five point loss to ladder leaders, Cavaliers, Blues co-captain Emma Johns said it has come at a perfect time to a full squad available.
“We play Hawks this weekend, we played the Hawks in round two of the season, unfortunately we went down,” Johns said.
“We won three of the four quarters in that game, so it was super disappointing to go down to them but we have learnt a lot and built over the season.
“This week brings our full squad for the first time this season which is pretty interesting that its round nine and this is the first time we’ve all been together.”
The Blues are coming off the narrow defeat to the ladder-leading Cavs, Kingston’s task doesn’t get easier against the reigning premier Hawks, who sit a game ahead of them on the ladder.
“We are really confident going into this weeks game,” Johns said.
“They are coming off a loss, we are coming off a loss but we are really confident coming into this game.
“Over the off season, consistency is something we really wanted to work on and our convert rate.
“We found that first game we didn’t capitalise in the last quarter when fatigue set in and that was when they (Hawks) ran over the top of us.
“So that will be something we focus on this weekend and really make sure it is a four quarter performance.”
The Hawks are coming off a surprise upset at the hands of fifth place Cripps Waratah who have now won their last three games in a row to slide into equal third.
Live stream action begins on Sunday with the 19&U clash at 4pm, followed by the Opens match at 5.30pm.
