The Eagles kicked three goals, three behinds in the final quarter to upset the high-flying Robins 8.9 (57) to 7.12 (54).
Sorell looked the better side for most of the afternoon, but struggled to correct their radar on goal in windy conditions at Pontville Oval.
The Robins were again led by a classic performance from forward Max Lamb, who kicked four goals, making it 11 goals across the past two weekends for the young gun.
Lamb finished with a personal tally of 28 points for the Robins, but even his efforts weren’t enough with Brock Anderson kicking the match-winner, after a slightly controversial 50m penalty, with three minutes to go.
In the SFLW clash, the SE Suns proved too strong for the Robins running out 6.6 (42) to 3.2 (20).
The Suns stormed home in the final term, keeping the Robins scoreless, and adding 24 points of their own to notch their first win of the SFLW Division 2 season.
Emily Lowe led from the front for the Suns, kicking two goals and three behinds, while Amy Massey also added two of her own.

PREVIEW: Sorell not afraid of high-flying Robins
Sorell know full well what they are up against on Saturday after Brighton achieved a nearly quarter-century milestone with a huge win over Lindisfarne last weekend.
The third-placed Robins will host the fourth-placed Eagles at Pontville full of confidence after beating last year’s undefeated premiers on their own home deck.
The statement win was, incredibly, the first time the Robins had beaten the Two Blues in the men’s senior competition in 22 years.

Sorell stalwart Alex ‘Bob’ Jones was full of praise for the fast-improving Brighton ahead of Saturday’s big clash.
“They’ve been impressive and obviously they knocked off Lindisfarne, which is a credit to them,” Jones said.
“I feel as though us and Brighton are the teams really pushing for that third or fourth spot, so if we can roll them this week it would be huge.
“They’ve just beaten Lindisfarne, and we know how good they’ve been in previous years, so if we are sitting around that mark then we are pretty happy with where we are at.”
Jones said his own side had also taken big steps in the off season, noting former Hobart best and fairest winner Brock Daniels as a huge addition to the club.
“He’s been huge, he’s a star,” Jones said of Daniels.
“He’s a contested beast and his skills are underrated, too, he’s a pretty good footballer.
“But what I was most impressed with is his leadership, as for a young bloke coming to a new club, it’s been top notch.”
Brighton star forward Max Lamb, who kicked seven goals in the drought-breaking win over Lindisfarne, said last week’s victory was huge for the club’s morale.
“It was 22 years since we’d beaten Lindisfarne, so that was huge for the club and it was a big focus going into that game,” he said.
“It gives us huge amounts of confidence, as last year we were just getting close to those top teams and now we have obviously beaten one, so it’s just massive.
“Three or four years ago the club didn’t have a senior team and just had reserves. They were really battling and now we’ve got a lot of players back and I think the future is really bright.”
Despite his confidence, Lamb said he was bracing for a tough tussle against the visiting Eagles.
“I think it’s going to be real tight and come down to the wire. At the end of the day, it’s going to be about whoever brings their A game,” he said.
“I know they’ve picked up a fair few handy players to add to what they had last year, so they’ll be hard to beat.”
