DAY 1 WRAP

West Adelaide was among the big winners on the opening day of the 2025 SANFL U15 Boys Intrastate Carnival.

Matches commenced across Adelaide on Tuesday for the three-day carnival, with six games exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV.

West’s country boys trailed by three points at half-time against South Adelaide but stormed home to record a 66-30 victory at Richmond Oval.

The Bloods were also far to strong for the Panthers in the metro matchup.

Sturt meanwhile came out on top in an arm-wrestle against Glenelg in their country clash.

Less than a goal separated the two sides at every break before the Double Blues booted two goals to one in the final term to run out nine-point winners.

While the country game was close all the way, the same could not be said for the metro contest as the Tigers blitzed the hosts in a 64-point thrashing.

At Norwood Oval, Woodville West-Torrens secured an impressive win away from home in the country clash but the Redlegs had the Eagles’ measure in a 72-24 triumph in the metro game.

Tune back in on Thursday with Central taking on Sturt, Norwood facing North and Glenelg battling West in live streamed double-headers on KommunityTV.
