BEST BET

FOLLOWING SEA (Race 1 No.4 – $5.50)

Following Sea was strong at the end of 2000m when scoring comfortably at Wangaratta. He’ll have no issues with 2400m and can win again.

NEXT BEST

MURAMASA (Race 7 No.3 – $6.50)

Muramasa was scratched from the Caulfield Cup because of the wet track and has landed in a winnable assignment in the Geelong Cup.

YELLOW SAM (Race 8 No.4 – $7.50)

Yellow Sam got too far back from a wide gate but ran on OK first-up at Caulfield. She’ll settle much closer this time and should improve.

VALUE BET

THAMES (Race 2 No.11 – $14)

Thames was no match at The Valley last time out but is well suited dropping back to BM64 level at Geelong. Expect better this time.
