Floyd Mayweather was surprised not once, but twice with touchdown footballs while he was watching the LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks in Los Angeles.
It started when Seattle receiver Tyler Lockett grabbed a great touchdown pass and took it straight to Floyd Mayweather before the Rams’ Brandin Cooks gave him a second one.
Mayweather was clearly happy with his haul, but social media directed its fury at the boxing champion.
Once of the reasons was the 41-year-old, who famously has a 50-0 boxing record, was being watched by a young fan in the box next to him.
Regardless of the seats being so insanely exclusive they reportedly don’t even turn up on the ground’s ticket map, fans were angry the ball didn’t go to any children or veterans, seeing as it was Sunday football being played on Veterans Day in the US.
Floyd Mayweather just got his second game ball of the afternoon, which seems excessive! pic.twitter.com/wJBkY0sjTt

A Rams and Seahawks player both presented Floyd Mayweather with a game ball after scoring touchdowns. Because apparently no kids, Veterans or anyone else worthy was around.

Cam Newton and the @Panthers players giving kids a ball after a touchdown = cool.

Seahawks and Rams players both giving Floyd Mayweather a ball after scoring touchdowns = not cool.#NFLRedZone
I could give this ball to a little kid.... or to Floyd Mayweather. Solid choice. https://t.co/xuDWLqHTRZ

Floyd Mayweather is giddy as hell over two $80 footballs when the man behind him in black is holding a duffle bag with a $1M in cash

I guess money doesnât buy you happiness ... but footballs do??? pic.twitter.com/Pi3j6FooUe
The only bad thing about Rams-Seahawks was that players didnât fire footballs into Floyd Mayweather Jrâs face after scoring.

Why are we handing footballs to Floyd Mayweather?

Brandin Cooks rushed for a nine-yard touchdown on the first snap after Dante Fowler forced and recovered a fumble by Russell Wilson, and the Rams bounced back from their first loss of the season.
Jared Goff passed for 318 yards and two touchdowns, and Todd Gurley rushed for 120 yards and a score as the Rams (9-1) swept the season series with their division rivals.
Los Angeles moved into commanding position for its second consecutive NFC West title, but only after plenty of late drama in a rivalry that’s never lacking in excitement.
Wilson threw three touchdown passes, rushed for 92 yards and nearly rallied the Seahawks (4-5) all the way back after his fumble.
He hit Mike Davis for a short TD catch to cap a 90-yard drive with 1:56 to play. After the Seattle defence held, he got the Seahawks to the Los Angeles 35 before throwing four straight incompletions in the final minute.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll was hopeful the side could bounce back after two last minute losses in a row.
“We aren’t slowing down. We’re going to keep running the football, keep setting the tempo,” Carroll said. “I love the way we’re playing. We just have to stay alive and keep going.”
The success of the Seahawks’ running game is what has Carroll confident about his team’s hopes of contending for a playoff spot.
Seattle ran for 273 yards — the eighth most in a single game in franchise history.
