Top SACA Premier Cricket players of the week revealed

SACA Premier Cricket season is in full swing and a number of stars produced strong performances over the weekend. Here are our top players of the week.

Another weekend of exciting SACA Premier Cricket action has played out and stars across the men’s and women’s competitions were at their best in both one-day and two-day fixtures.

Here are our top performers of the week in alphabetical order.

TOM ANDREWS

(Port Adelaide)

Andrews was a standout yet again for Port Adelaide over the weekend, performing with both the bat and ball as his side took on West Torrens.

The star all-rounder made 63 not out with the bat and also took 3/20 in day one of the big two-day clash between the two juggernauts.

SAM DARLING

(Adelaide Uni)

Adelaide Uni produced a strong total of 269 against Sturt on Saturday and Darling was the leader with the bat.

Opening alongside vice-captain Cameron Edwards, Darling faced 188 deliveries and made 76 runs to help his side to a solid innings.

ELIZABETH JOHNSON

(Glenelg)

Despite Glenelg’s first grade loss on Sunday, Johnson’s bowling performance made her a standout against Kensington.

Johnson bowled just five overs but managed to take four wickets for 28 runs as the Seahorses held the Browns to 165.

RYAN KING

(East Torrens)

King continued his strong start to the season on Saturday, performing with the bat yet again for East Torrens in division two.

With openers Will Montgomery and Josh Barrett combining for 52 runs, King’s 81-run innings was much-needed against Northern Districts.

SARAH LOWE

(Kensington)

Kensington captain Sarah Lowe was at her best with the ball on Sunday, helping her side to a strong win over Glenelg in the one-day competition.

Lowe took four wickets for just 12 runs through eight overs as the Browns bowled Glenelg out for 113.

NOAH MCFAYDEN

(Adelaide)

McFayden produced a standout innings with the bat as Adelaide stormed to a strong 279 total in day one against Glenelg.

The Buffaloes gun was at his best on Saturday, hitting 10 fours and three sixes as he tallied 104 runs at number four in the order.

ALEX PRICE

(Sturt)

Dominant all-rounder Alex Price starred for Sturt against Adelaide on Sunday, producing with the ball and bat.

The Blues captain clean bowled four Adelaide batters to take 4/11 through six overs before opening with the bat and making 56 not out to give her team the win.

JAMES REUTHER

(West Torrens)

A star quick out of the Yorke Peninsula, Reuther has continued to impress for West Torrens this year.

The Eagles had Port Adelaide all out for 123 on Saturday and Reuther was integral, taking six wickets for a return of 56 through 14 overs.
