It doesn’t get any bigger than the big show in the Big Bash League.

Glenn Maxwell might have turned 37 in October, but he can still change the course of a BBL game quicker than any other player in Australia’s T20 competition.

Maxwell has reclaimed top spot in our annual BBL player rankings from Adelaide Strikers captain Matt Short, topping a list which includes a host of new faces like Muhammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Taking into account player availability (some players will only play 3-4 games and finals), Tim Michell and Lachlan McKirdy took on the task of ranking the BBL’s best.
