The Tasmania JackJumpers are yet to confirm head coach Scott Roth has signed a new deal despite reports dropping of an extension.

The 60-year-old American last signed an extension through to the end of the 2024-25 season in May 2022.
That deal included a mutual option to his extend his stay in Tassie for a further year.
Roth’s side currently sits third on the ladder with an 11-11 record, ahead of the Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets on percentage after a poor run of form in recent weeks.
Before being named the JackJumpers inaugural coach., Roth was an assistant coach under Trevor Gleeson at the Perth Wildcats where he was part of the championship winning team in 2020.
He also has experience in the NBA, widely considered the best league in the world, with several teams.
The JackJumpers will return to action on Friday night against title favourites Melbourne United.
