NBA legend Isiah Thomas has revealed what it would take for him to bury his feud with Michael Jordan after the Chicago Bulls legend ripped his rival in The Last Dance docu-series.

The NY Post reports the two-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons recently went on The Draymond Green Show and aired his grievances.

“This dude got on international television and called me an a***hole, somebody who’s been really good to him,” Thomas told Golden State Warriors star Green.

“And until he apologises on international television, there is no conversation. You can’t apologise and have a private dinner when you embarrassed me publicly. If you didn’t mean it, say it publicly. If you meant it, I understand. I’m good with that.”

In the 2020 Last Dance documentary series, which was centred around Jordan’s memories of the Bulls’ 90s dynasty, he talked about the rumour that he was responsible for keeping Thomas off the USA’s 1992 Olympic team.

Jordan denied that, but didn’t hold back his feelings on Thomas.

“The reaction of the public has kind of changed his perspective,” said Jordan, whose Bulls had multiple playoff wars with Thomas’ Bad Boy Pistons.

“You can show me anything you want, there’s no way you can convince me he wasn’t an a***hole.”

There is no evidence that Jordan didn’t mean it as he’s now had over three years to set the record straight if he believed his thoughts on Thomas were somehow taken out of context.

Despite the personal dislike between the two being part of NBA lore, Thomas said he did not realise that Jordan had felt that way until the docu-series was released.

“Even until I watched ‘The Last Dance,’ I didn’t realise that he felt the way he felt the way about me,” Thomas said on “The Club Shay” podcast in 2020.

“I never had no bad words with him or anything like that. We played. His team won, my team won. We went home, they went home.”
