JACKJUMPERS fans can really get a taste of the action on Sunday with the club now having its very own ice-cream range.
Tasmanian company Silver Spoon has created JackJumpers Ice Cream – a peppermint ice cream with chocolate sauce, made locally at its Cambridge factory.
“This concept has been in the works for quite some time, and we’re delighted to launch it in summer to cool crowds down at the arena and sweeten their experience at the NBL,” Silver Spoon Owner Jen Hanlon said.
Sunday’s game against South East Melbourne Phoenix at MyState Bank Arena will be the JackJumpers first game in 22 days following five NBL game postponements due to Covid protocols.
JackJumpers CEO Simon Brookhouse said the JackJumpers were excited to again play in front of home fans for the first time since New Year’s Day.
“The team are refreshed after a break and ready to get the season back under way” he said.
“The team are healthy and have had a good lead-in to regain fitness and we’re looking forward to another competitive hit-out in front of our home fans.
Brookhouse said ice-cream manufacturer Silver Spoon was a game day partner for Sunday’s game.
“Silver Spoon are a proud Tasmanian company, grown from small beginnings, and we’re really proud that they were the JackJumpers very first partner signing last year,” he said.
JackJumpers Ice Cream is currently available at MyState Bank Arena. Silver Spoon is working with retail partners to distribute the new variety to stores statewide.
