Hollywood superstar Sydney Sweeney has responded to a flirty request that went viral after appearing in the background of a live feed.

The Oregon Duck started the college football Sunday broadcast off with a bang, shooting its shot with a Hollywood star.

Fortunately for the mascot, its crush did respond back, the NY Post reports.

However, it didn’t end up turning out in its favour.

During ESPN’s “College GameDay” broadcast, as the crew and special guest Kaitlin Olson made their picks for the day, the Oregon Duck held a sign that read: “Sydney Sweeney call me back.”

The American actress who is known for her roles in “Euphoria” and “Anyone But You,” saw the sign as it went viral.

She then responded on her Instagram story.

“Sorry. Changed my number haha,” she wrote over a screenshot of the sign on the broadcast.

It was a big risk on a big day for the Duck, whose team was preparing itself for a monster showdown against Ohio State.

The clash of unbeaten teams in the Big Ten went down to the wire and in what was better news for the Duck … Oregon claimed the win.

Oregon was able to overcome the ugly ejection of wide receiver Traeshon Holden thanks to quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

The senior signal caller threw two touchdown passes and ran for another late score to propel the Ducks to the 32-31 win over the Buckeyes.

Holden was tossed out of the game for spitting on Ohio cornerback Davison Igbinosun after the two were engaged in a play near the goal line in the second quarter.

His disgusting act took place in front of an official and was caught on NBC cameras.

It was an obvious flag and automatic ejection by rule as Igbinosun wiped slobber from the visor on his face mask.

Following the ejection, a distraught Holden threw his helmet as he walked up the tunnel to the locker room, and NBC cameras caught him on his knees in frustration at himself for the boneheaded penalty.

Despite the loss of a star receiver, the Ducks were able maintain their unbeaten start to the college season.
