League chief lauds ‘powerful’ Goodes doco

Gillon McLachlan says the AFL will learn from the past after he and the 18 club presidents sat through a private screening of the upcoming Adam Goodes documentary, which was described as “powerful and confronting”.

Key Lion confused as Gazza, Fyfe get off

Brisbane Lions star Mitch Robinson was as surprised as anyone after the AFL ticked off Gary Ablett and Nat Fyfe’s high blows on opponents, cheekily suggesting players were now allowed to “throw elbows”.
