Tigers Duds: Ty Vickery, Steven Morris, Kamdyn McIntosh, Shane Edwards, Daniel Rioli, Jason Castagna and Jake Batchelor all scored below 50. Bachar Houli’s 57 and Brett Deledio’s 64 would certainly disappoint their owners.

Magpies Duds: James Aish has come under intense scrutiny from Nathan Buckley and just two first-half touches. He managed 21 points for the match. Mason Cox’s third game wasn’t his best and the cash cow’s potential will be limited by his 24. Josh Smith was also a bit disappointing with 49.

Cats Studs: Steven Motlop was in sensational form at the Cattery on Saturday, kicking four goals, and scoring a match-high 155. Bombers Studs: He’s done it again! James Kelly has scored his seventh 100 in a row. A 102 for the ex-Cat. David Zaharakis (124) and Zach Merrett (104) continue to be Essendon’s best week in-week out. Those who hung onto Mitch Brown would be very happy (if they had him on the ground) after he posted a 93.
Bombers Duds: Jonathan Simpkin was the game’s lowest scorer with 28 due to a hamstring injury. James Polkinghorne was disappointing, scoring just 35. Michael Hartley would have been a popular on-ground option this week but a 58 wasn’t what was required.
DEMONS 160 def SUNS 87

Dockers studs: Without Nat Fyfe and Aaron Sandilands, Lachie Neale (124) and Jon Griffin (111) stepped up as the pair almost lifted Fremantle to its first win of the season. Neale had 33 disposals — 25 contested — and 13 clearances, while Griffin more than held his own against Shane Mumford in the ruck. Stephen Hill (109) and Danyle Pearce (108) also provided the Dockers with some drive.
