SuperCoach is back for 2024

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Only one of our six experts had Nick Daicos averaging less than 120 points. One (Al Paton) had Daicos improving by more than 10 points a game from 2023.

Only two of the experts had Marcus Bontempelli averaging more points a game than Nick Daicos.

The experts are split on who will average more out of James Sicily and Tom Stewart. Three (The Phantom, Al Paton and Tarquin Oakley) went for Sicily, while the others had Stewart just in front.

Every expert predicted Hayden Young would average 100+ for the first time.

The experts think Brodie Grundy is undervalued by at least 20 points after averaging 86 last year. The lowest predicted average for the new Swans ruckman was 106.

Only one expert (Patch) predicted Max Gawn would average more than Tim English.

Five of the six experts projected Zac Williams and Nat Fyfe would average at least 80.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Colby McKercher is projected to be the best of this year’s rookies. The lowest average predicted for North Melbourne’s No. 2 pick was 81 points.

Most of the experts expect Ryley Sanders to average in the 70s. Four of the six predicted an average of 70 to 76.

The experts predicted Zane Duursma and Nick Watson would average the same — 57.3

The experts weren’t completely sold on Melbourne’s top-10 pick Caleb Windsor, predicting averages from 60-68.

Shaun Mannagh was a player who caused a split, with his average predictions ranging from 43 to 72 points a game.
