GIANTS DUDS: Matt Buntine didn’t have a lot of work to do in the Giants backline and finished with 44. The same goes for Phil Davis (50), Nick Haynes (51) and Heath Shaw (53). However, at Shaw’s price you’d be wanting more on a weekly basis.

BOMBERS STUDS: Orazio Fantasia was the hero for Essendon with five goals and 113 points, pipping Zach Merrett (112) for the team-high score. Popular mid-price picks Dyson Heppell (108) and Jobe Watson (100) also tonned up. Shaun McKernan (92) again rewarded those that took the risk.

MELBOURNE 86 defeat CARLTON

DEMONS STUDS: Clayton Oliver continues his barnstorming early-season form with another 34 disposals and 139 points. Christian Salem was equally brilliant on Sunday with 134. Jeff Garlett, Max Gawn, James Harmes, Dom Tyson and Nathan Jones all tonned up.

BLUES DUDS: Sam Rowe isn’t in the team to score SuperCoach points and his 32 is no real surprise. Jarrad Pickett continues to disappoint his owners and his 35 points will make it very hard for him to be a productive cash cow.

PORT ADELAIDE 145 defeat FREMANTLE

POWER STUDS: Welcome back, Robbie Gray. The Power superstar was at his damaging best with 30 disposals, six goals and 164 points. Ollie Wines wasn’t far behind with 145 points and rookie revelation Sam Powell-Pepper (90) stepped up again.

DOCKERS STUDS: Lachie Neale had the ball on the string as he scored 129, just in front of Nat Fyfe on 117. David Mundy (92) was the only other Docker to reach 90.

DOCKERS DUDS: Connor Blakely couldn’t get near it on Sunday, scoring just 13 while Cam McCarthy’s popularity as a cash cow is on the slide after scoring just 28.
