Last weekend was a vindication of state league SuperCoach form.
Shaun Mannagh scores 179 points from six goals in the VFL, is promoted to the AFL and scores 118 points for the Cats.
Ned Moyle blows up the stat sheet with a 219-point game for Gold Coast’s VFL team, is called up to cover for an injured Jarrod Witts and scores an admirable 90 points from 18 disposals and 26 hitouts.
Mattaes Philippou franks a solid month of VFL form with a 137-point return and follows it up with his best performance at AFL level, scoring 112 points against the ladder leaders.
So, who should we be keeping an eye on this week?

The highest SuperCoach score from among more than 200 AFL-listed players in action in the VFL, SANFL and WAFL at the weekend was 167 points from young Essendon big man Nick Bryan.
He posted 167 points from 20 disposals, 50 hitouts (16 to advantage) and eight clearances against Port Melbourne. It followed a 144-point return against Collingwood the week before and scores this season including 187 v North Melbourne and 171 v Richmond.
If Essendon wants to really take advantage of a missing Max Gawn on Saturday night, Bryan is certainly in form.
In other standout state league performances:
MITCH Hardie is surely next in line for an AFL debut at Geelong after collecting 38 disposals and two goals to register 139 SuperCoach points against Box Hill. The 26-year-old midfielder is averaging 29 disposals and 113 SuperCoach points in the VFL.
LACHIE Sullivan responded to being dropped by Collingwood with 31 disposals, 20 contested possessions, six tackles and 139 points. Ash Johnson kicked five goals straight to post 134 SuperCoach points.
JAMES Trezise had a serious breakout game for Richmond’s VFL side, racking up 28 disposals at 93 per cent efficiency, 10 intercept possessions and 159 SuperCoach points.
NED McHenry put his hand up for a Crows recall with a 154-point game in the SANFL from 22 disposals and two goals.
MARC Pittonet is ready if needed to help Tom De Koning in the ruck against Tim English on Saturday. He had 26 disposals, 33 hitouts (14 to advantage), four centre clearances, three intercept marks and 147 points against the Giants.
CHAD Wingard’s chances of another AFL appearance appear remote. He scored 45 SuperCoach points from 13 touches for Box Hill on return from injury, and is averaging 62 over seven VFL appearances this season.
