SuperCoach AFL: Buy, Hold, Sell Round 19

Zac Fisher is over his foot injury. Can he win back his spot in North Melbourne’s best 23?

Fisher was one of the SuperCoach recruits of the season, averaging 30 disposals and 111 points from round 9-15.

He had 83 to his name when he was subbed out hurt in round 16, then had to front up in the VFL for the first time this year after the Roos couldn’t find a place for him in the team to face Sydney.

Fisher scored 109 SuperCoach points at state league level from 16 kicks (11 effective), 11 handballs, six rebound-50s, five marks, five intercept possessions, three spoils and zero tackles.

He might have to rely on Alastair Clarkson making changes after a 79-point loss to play against his former team Carlton on Sunday.

Another interesting name to feature in the Kangaroos’ VFL side on Saturday was rookie defender Wil Dawson, who returned from injury and had took seven intercept marks and had 12 disposals for 63 SuperCoach points. He is still part of more than 42,000 SuperCoach teams.

The most remarkable performance of the more than 200 AFL-listed players who featured in the VFL, SANFL or WAFL at the weekend was by Bulldog Riley Garcia.

A very late call-up to the senior side on Saturday, he was named the sub but never used. He was clearly feeling fresh on Sunday when he scored 199 SuperCoach points for Footscray from 34 disposals, 17 tackles and two goals.

Caleb Daniel reminded AFL selectors he’s still an option with 29 disposals, nine tackles and 134 SuperCoach points in the same game.
