St Kilda has let go its national recruiting manager Chris Toce as part of ongoing changes to the club’s football department.

Rival clubs are linking veteran recruiter Simon Dalrymple, currently with Sydney, with a move to the Saints.

Toce had been at the club in various roles for eight years after a previous stint at Collingwood.

He was appointed the club’s recruiting chief less than two years ago, taking over from Chris Liberatore.

Toce’s exit follows the arrival of ex-Carlton list boss Stephen Silvagni at the start of the year, to work alongside veteran administrator Graeme Allan, who is the club’s head of talent and acquisition.

There has been considerable upheaval at St Kilda since late last year.

Along with Ross Lyon’s return as coach, Geoff Walsh had a brief stint as head of football, eventually replaced by high performance expert Dave Misson.

High performance chief Nick Walsh departed the club abruptly mid-season, replaced by Alex Sakadjian.
