Gary Ablett is expected to miss the Suns’ clash with Adelaide.

GARY Ablett and Aaron Hall will both miss Gold Coast’s clash against Adelaide due to injury and that’s just the start of the damage to the Queensland teams this weekend.

Ablett will miss with concussion while Hall was ruled out with a shoulder problem.

They are two of six confirmed outs at the Suns with Adam Saad (hamstring) and Touk Miller (ankle) also hurt.

Across town Brisbane has also made at least six changes — and it could be as high as nine — for its clash against Melbourne with Dayne and Claye Beams, Josh Green and Josh Walker among the outs.

In other team news, Richmond captain Trent Cotchin returns along with Kane Lambert, who has made a quicker than expected recovery after suffering a punctured lung and cracked rib against Port Adelaide in Round 6.

Youngsters Corey Ellis (general soreness) and Daniel Rioli (family illness) are out of the Tigers’ team to face Fremantle.

The Dockers lost Stephen Hill to injury but recalled captain Matthew Pavlich.

North Melbourne tagger Ben Jacobs has suffered a serious foot injury and the Kangaroos dropped Majak Daw. Daniel Wells will miss at least one more week with a leg problem.

Collingwood named Ben Reid, Port Adelaide regains Robbie Gray, the Western Bulldogs named another debutant in defender Kieran Collins and Adelaide dropped brothers Matt and Brad Crouch.
