Fremantle star Hayden Young will make his long-awaited return from injury as Collingwood manages Tom Mitchell after just two senior games.
Young has played just four games this season and hasn’t appeared since round 8, having battled soft-tissue injuries.
But he will make his return for a massive clash against Collingwood at the MCG, replacing the omitted Isaiah Dudley.
The Magpies have rested Mitchell, who has played just two senior games this season.
He has battled his own injury concerns, but played a series of VFL games before finally breaking back into the senior side.
He is one of several changes, with Roan Steele omitted, Jeremy Howe and Dan Houston injured, and Tim Membrey also managed.
Charlie Dean, Pat Lipinski, Brody Mihocek, Ed Allan and Beau McCreery all return.
St Kilda withdrew Hugo Garcia from its squad for the clash against Geelong, replacing him with Tobie Travaglia.
But the first-round talent did not break into the team – with the Saints recalling Ryan Byrnes and Darcy Wilson for Garcia and Dan Butler.
Geelong will have Tyson Stengle and Sam De Koning return for Ollie Henry and George Stevens.
Gold Coast will debut SSP signing Ben Jepson after an impressive stint at VFL level.
Leo Lombard also returns, with Touk Miller and Lachie Weller out.
Nick Murray replaces Jordon Butts for the clash with the Suns, while Luke Pedlar comes in for Brayden Cook.
HAWK RETURNS
Mitch Lewis will play his first game of senior football in 378 days when he pulls on the boots on Saturday.
The key forward has not played for Hawthorn since round 17 last season, when he tore his ACL against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
Lewis endured a wretched 2024 campaign that had limited him to just three games before a lengthy stint on the sidelines, returning for the clash against the Cats.
But a head knock in an aerial contest caused him to land and bend his knee awkwardly on impact, resulting in a ruptured knee ligament.
Lewis has booted 10 goals in his three VFL games since returning, including a bag of five majors against Essendon last weekend.
Mabior Chol misses with injury and is one of three changes for the Hawks.
Jack Scrimshaw will also return after a lengthy stint out of the senior side, and youngster Bailey Macdonald comes in as well.
Changkuoth Jiath and Cam Mackenzie have been dropped.
Port Adelaide will be without skipper Connor Rozee and star midfielder Jason Horne-Francis, as well as the omitted Willie Rioli.
Logan Evans, Jackson Mead and Dylan Williams come into the side to face Hawthorn.
The Bulldogs have recalled Liam Jones in place of Nick Coffield to battle Brisbane on Friday night.
Luke Cleary also returns alongside Lachie McNeil, with Josh Dolan and Cooper Hynes coming out of the side.
Brisbane has made two changes, replacing the injured Noah Answerth and the suspended Zac Bailey with Sam Marshall and Bruce Reville.
Carlton has made three forced changes, replacing the injured trio of Alex Cincotta, Orazio Fantasia and Mitch McGovern.
Adam Saad returns from his concussion, while Francis Evans and Will White have been recalled.
Melbourne has replaced Jake Lever with Steven May, and Harry Sharp returns for Tom Sparrow.
North Melbourne will regain Luke Davies-Uniacke for the clash against Sydney, joining Callum Coleman-Jones, Brynn Teakle and Zac Banch.
Coleman-Jones will play his first senior game since his achilles injury, while Banch will make his debut.
Finbar Maley, Bailey Scott and Robert Hansen Jr have been omitted alongside the suspended Tristan Xerri.
The Swans have brought back Dane Rampe and Peter Ladhams for Tom McCartin and Aaron Francis.
Richmond enters its clash with West Coast as an unchanged side, but the Eagles have recalled Liam Ryan, Tim Kelly and Jack Petruccelle.
Elijah Hewett was managed and Noah Long and Malakai Champion have been dropped.
