After two successful landings a third parachutist - set to deliver the game ball - crashed very heavily onto the cricket wicket area of the ground.
He appeared to be decending very quickly before his feet planted in the turf and then his head thrust forward into the wicket.
He lay motionless on the ground for more than 15 minutes as he received medical attention.
He was taken off the ground by the motorised stretcher to a waiting ambulance which took him to hospital for further examination.
The game was delayed by 10 minutes.
