North Hobart has been handed a huge boost on the eve of the TSL season, with a former Western Bulldogs and GWS player granted clearance to play with the club.

NORTH Hobart has been handed a huge boost on the eve of the TSL season, with former Western Bulldogs and GWS player Sam Darley granted clearance to play with the club.
Darley played 13 AFL games at the Giants and seven at the Bulldogs in a career which spanned from 2012 and 2015.

He then joined Richmond’s VFL side, where he captained the club to the 2017 premiership.
North Hobart president Craig Martin said Darley, 26, was excited to the return to the club from which he was drafted from in 2011.
“Sam is delighted and so, of course, is his family and everyone at the club,” Martin said.
Darley will line up in Saturday’s season opener when North Hobart host Lauderdale at North Hobart Oval.
