THE Brisbane Lions are heading back to Tasmania.
Before last season’s surge to second on the ladder at the end of the home and away season, Brisbane held a training camp at Kingston’s Twin Ovals.
They will do so again later this month with two open training’s at the Twins and a further one at Blundstone Arena.
It will be the first chance Tasmanians get to see one of their favourite sons, four-time Hawthorn premiership players Grant Birchall in a Lions jumper, as well as fellow Tasmanians coach Chris Fagan and cult hero, hard nut veteran Mitch Robinson.
Brisbane will be at Kingston on Saturday, January 18 (9am to 10.30am) and Sunday, January 19 (8.30am to 11.15am) and at Blundstone on Thursday, January 23 (3pm to 4pm).
