All eyes on new conference system

It’s early days, but there already appears to be a gap between the strength in the two conferences in this year’s revamped AFLW competition. Crows columnist Courtney Cramey expects it will be an interesting discussion point as the season builds to finals.

Carlton president Mark LoGiudice has revealed ambitious plan to turn Ikon Park into a high-performance hub of women’s football and says the club’s deepest rebuild will soon begin to pay.

‘Relaxed’ Parker ready to make presence felt

Alyce Parker is the youngest GWS player by 12 months and while at times she admits it can be “intimidating”, she’s not letting her age hold her back as she looks to make a bigger impact on the field after settling into life as an athlete.

Worry over AFLW expansion

Western Bulldogs premiership coach Paul Groves has voiced his concern at the rapid expansion of AFLW, fearing it will be difficult to find 120 elite players to fill out the four new teams set to join the competition next season.
