North Melbourne’s AFLW star Jasmine Garner helped lead North Melbourne to a commanding 11.8 (74) to 6.2 (38) semi-final victory over Richmond on Saturday.
But it was during a post-game interview with Nat Edwards that the emotion of the moment poured out of Garner and she let slip with an F-bomb.

Garner was dominant throughout the contest, finishing with 22 disposals, 17 of which were contested, seven tackles and two goals as North booked their spot in a preliminary final contest against Melbourne.
Edwards asked the North star how she was feeling after securing the victory and what her overwhelming emotions were. Garner began to give her answer before the swear word slipped out which she immediately apologised for.
“It’s bloody awesome. We came out firing, we knew the Tigers were going to give it their all but we absolutely f***ing love playing at this … sorry … we love playing at this ground and yeah so proud of the girls,” Garner said.
About the only thing Jasmine Garner dropped all day was the f bomb in the on ground interview! @NorthMelbourneW

Garner put North on her back, putting the demons of her Rd 10 performance behind her to take Richmond apart with a scintillating performance befitting of the best player in AFLW.
It will be the first time in the club’s history they have played a preliminary final next week against the red-hot Dees, but their scoring power will cause headaches this week for Mick Stinear after kicking 10 goals for the first time this year.
The sides met in Rd 2 this year with Melbourne running out two-point winners, but North look poised to go all the way for the first time and cause an upset next week.
When the sides played out a draw in the final round of the season, which kept the Tigers inside the top four and North clinging to eighth, Garner was expertly tagged by Meg Macdonald, having just 13 touches.
But the North star proved the difference as she broke the shackles early to put the Roos on her back.
Macdonald went to Garner again but the coaches’ best player of the season winner turned the tables as she took her apart with nine touches in the first quarter.
Jess Hosking moved to her for part of the second term, but Crocker moved his star utility forward where she kicked two massive goals to all but put Richmond away.
