Cranbourne girl Moody was drafted at pick 67 in 2016 and was named the Blues’ most improved player last year.
At 180cm Moody evolved into Carlton’s No.1 ruck this year and earned a Rising Star nomination in Round 5.
Tough midfielder Loynes was drafted at pick 110 in 2016.
“Katie and Bre worked tirelessly in every game they played and they should both be really proud of their performances,” Carlton football boss Andrew McKay said.
“Be continues to grow as a player, not only with her tap work in the ruck, but also her second and third efforts around the ground.
“She has a desire to keep developing as a player and that’s a great quality to have.
“Katie is a true competitor and you know what you’re going to get when she takes to the field each week.
“She chases, tackles, defends and gets herself in the right positions.“
The Blues are searching for a new senior coach after receiving the wooden spoon and face a fight to keep captain Bri Davey, who suffered an ACL injury in Round 2.
Davey grew up a Collingwood fan and has received interest from the Magpies.
Former netballer Maddison Grey was named Carlton’s best first-year player after its 2-5 season.
