Cairns real estate: Bluewater Harbour at Trinity Park is millionaire’s row

One Cairns street is fast becoming millionaire’s row with 10 waterfront properties breaking the $1m mark in recent years and a stunning five bedroom home on the market for $2.5m.

Selling season to spring into action

BRINDABELLA Quay at Trinity Park is fast becoming millionaire’s row with 10 waterfront properties breaking the $1m mark in recent years and a stunning five bedroom home on the market for $2.5m.

The opulent Balinese-inspired home at 11 Brindabella Quay on the prestigious Bluewater Harbour Estate spans 412sq m.

There’s a 10m private pontoon on an 800sq m block with 21m of water frontage.

The master bedroom has a giant walk-in wardrobe and ensuite overlooking the pool, complete with free standing bath and dual shower.

The kitchen has stone bench tops and Miele kitchen appliances and there’s an office nook with a custom made built-in desk.

Nathan Shingles of FNQ Hot Property said even at the top end of the market, Bluewater Harbour offered value.

“Bluewater is one of the smallest canal estates in Australia and supply and demand has finally caught up,” Mr Shingles said.

“It is second to none for a prestige lifestyle, with direct access to the Great Barrier Reef; a limited supply of waterfront property is attracting buyers willing to pay a premium – they can see there is still value in the market even though record prices are being achieved, and there’s less than a handful of available blocks to purchase to build.”

There is also a whopping 1350sq m vacant northeast-facing block at 16 Brindabella Quay on the market with RE/MAX – it will be auctioned on October 30.

A 700sq m block of vacant land in the street named after the maxi yacht Brindabella, which won the 1997 Sydney to Hobart Yacht race, sold this month for $1,050,000 with Mr Shingles as agent.

The home at 3 Brindabella Quay sold for $2,450,000 in May this year, 22-24 Brindabella Quay fetched $2,650,000 in 2018, 26 Brindabella Quay sold for $1,530,000 in 2018 and 4 Brindabella Quay made $2,500,000 in 2017.
