Yungblud's Australian tour is safe after singer cancels shows on doctor's orders
Frontier Touring has confirmed Yungblud's Australian shows will proceed in January, despite the British star cancelling his remaining 2025 gigs due to health concerns.
Yungblud fans listen up – after cancelling the remainder of his gigs for the year, the British muso is still scheduled to kick off 2026 in Australia.
A statement issued by Frontier Touring confirmed Yungblud will be heading our way in January as planned.
“The Australian dates in 2026 remain as scheduled,” the statement read.
“We’re looking forward to seeing YUNGBLUD in January and extend our best wishes to Dom while he takes some time to rest and recover.”
The singer songwriter, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, announced at the weekend the cancellation of his remaining 2025 IDOLS World Tour shows in the US, Mexico and Latin America on the advice of his doctor.
Australia was not mentioned in the Instagram story post in which he said his “heart is broken”.
“This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns,” he explained.
“It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a f*** about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and I can’t f*** around.”
He continued: “I don’t want (to) do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”
Yungblud is scheduled to begin the Australian leg of the IDOLS World Tour at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on January 10, followed by shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.
