US bombs Iran: Tel Aviv under attack from Iran as Trump threatens ‘regime change’

Sirens are sounding across central Israel amid a new missile attack from Iran, after Donald Trump floated a change of leadership. Follow updates.

Donald Trump has launched a fresh verbal salvo directed at Iran’s Supreme Leader, musing over whether to take his MAGA philosophy to the Middle East and “Make Iran Great Again.

“It’s not politically correct to use the term, ‘Regime Change’, but if the current Iranian regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a regime change???,” he wrote on Truth Social. “MIGA!!! (Make Iran Great Again).”

Mr Trump said the strikes were a success. “The damage to the nuclear sites in Iran is said to be ‘monumental’,” he said.

“The hits were hard and accurate. Great skill was shown by our military. Thank you!”

It came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Israel was “very, very close” to destroying Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities.
