The widow of slain Melbourne man Zivan Radmanovic begged for help in the moments after her husband was shot dead in an alleged Aussie ordered gangland hit carried out in Bali.

Jazmyn Gourdeas, who hid in a bedroom as her husband was executed inside the luxury villa they were staying near Munggu beach, Bali, on June 14, was in court on Monday as a witness recalled the outbreak of violence.

Ms Gourdeas was in court with the men accused of the deadly raid, Sydney men Darcy Francesco Jenson, 27, and Mevlut Coskun, 23, and Melbourne man Paea I Middlemore Tupou, 26.

The trio are facing charges of gun possession, murder and premeditated murder. If found guilty they face the prospect of the death penalty.

Witness Gede Putu Aldo said he was asleep when he heard what he thought was a crash before hearing a “firecracker” sound.

Mr Aldo told the court he went outside and saw his neighbour, Sanar Ghanim, bleeding before Ms Gourdeas approached him.

“Aldo please help me to call an ambulance,” he recalled her yelling.

He said Ms Gourdeas then said: “Please call the police and ambulance, my husband has suffered injuries inside … My husband gonna die, my husband gonna die. Please call an ambulance.”

Mr Aldo said he had seen a gunman from his villa next door to Casa Sintasya 1 and also saw two men on motorbikes outside the villa.

He testified that one of the assailants said: “I can’t start my bike.”

Mr Coskun and Mr Tupou were ordered to say those words by the court and Mr Aldo said the voice sounded similar to Mr Tupou’s.

Mr Aldo said Ghanim had been living in the villa for more than two months.

Another witness, the villa’s owner, Made Agus Yunantara, said he called the police after being phoned by Mr Aldo.

Mr Yunantara said there were five people staying at the villa on June 13.

Earlier that day, Mr Yunantara said he held a purification ceremony at the villa.

A third witness, Kadek Putra Pramana said he knew two of the suspects, who he testified used aliases.

He said Mr Tupou had told him his name was “Billy”, while Mr Coskun said his name was “Tom”.

Mr Radmanovic was shot dead in a bathroom while his mate, Ghanim, the former partner of Carl Williams’ step daughter, Danielle Stephens, was shot multiple times but escaped his attackers.

Sisters Jazmyn and Danielle Gourdeas were not physically harmed during the ambush.

A tight security presence surrounded the Denpasar District Court for the second day of the trial.

Sydney plumber Mr Jenson is facing a separate trial to his co-accused, Mr Tupou and Mr Mevlut.

He made his first public statement about the Bali ambush that killed one Aussie and wounded another.

“I have nothing to clarify....because I don’t know what happened at the villa,” Mr Jenson testified.

Mr Jenson was responding to testimony given by Mr Aldo, who told the court he heard shots being fired between three and five times.

“The sound of shooting was many times,” he said.

Mr Jenson, however, answered “no comment” in response to the evidence given by a shop owner who testified the Australian had bought a sledgehammer used to bash the villa’s door.

Accused Mr Tupou and Mr Coskun allegedly trawled for sex workers in the days before the deadly Bali ambush.

The men allegedly asked to be taken for “boom boom”, according to a Bali driver, Kadek Putra Pramana, who testified to a Denpensar court he met the accused men on June 11 outside the Atlas Beach Club in Canggu.

Mr Pramana said the men used the aliases “Billy” and “Tom” when he spoke to them on the street.

He said the men said they wanted “boom boom”, meaning sex workers.

He said another driver took them on motorbikes to seek out the service.

Meanwhile, Ms Gourdeas remains in “shock” after coming “face to face” with the men accused of the deadly ambush.

Her lawyer Sary Latief said a decision was yet to be made on whether Ms Gourdeas would testify in court next week.

“Whether it’s going to be in court or we might decide another place... she says she is not ready to give her testimony yet because when she was face-to-face with the defendants... it brought a lot of emotional and mental pressure as well,” Ms Latief said outside court.

“She’s putting (on) a really brave face for coming.”

Ms Gourdeas was supported by her mother, aunty and younger brother at court.

Her sister, Daniella, was not at court.

Security was again tight for the court hearing with up to 140 guards and police attending.

Ms Gourdeas is expected to give evidence when the court reconvenes next week.

The trial has already heard allegations that a fourth suspect – an Australian national – was sending orders to Mr Jenson via encrypted app THREEMA in the lead up to the ambush.

The AFP has not confirmed any ongoing investigation into the unnamed Australian.

An spokesperson from the AFP said: “As this investigation is being undertaken by the Indonesian National Police, inquiries should be directed to them.”
