Student in custody after allegedly firing gun at Perth’s Atlantis Beach Baptist College

Police have rushed to a private college in Perth after reports a student fired a gun in the carpark.

Police have rushed to Perth’s northern suburbs in response to an alarming incident at a private college.

According to reports, a student at the school fired a gun in the carpark, prompting swift action from law enforcement.

The incident occurred around 11:50 am, leading to a significant police presence at Atlantis Beach Baptist College.

Neighbouring businesses, including a local daycare, were placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure.

The 15-year-old teenager believed to be responsible for discharging the firearm has been apprehended by the police.

Parents and students were reported leaving the school around 4pm.

There were no injuries.

Parents and students are leaving Atlantis Beach Baptist College.

They say they heard 3 gunshots.

About 11:50am this morning, police responded to a firearm incident that occurred at Atlantis Beach Baptist College in Two Rocks. It is understood a 15-year-old boy attended the school and discharged a firearm in the carpark.
