Horror after police discover a six-month-old baby in a Perth house

Police were called to a suburban street where they made the horrific discovery, finding a six-month-old baby dead at a home.

Police are investigating after a six-month-old baby was tragically found dead at a home in Perth.

Emergency services rushed to a house on Nerang Mews Road at Merriwa, in Perth’s northern suburbs, just after 8am Saturday.

When officers arrived, they discovered the young baby’s body at the home.

“Upon arrival a six-month-old baby was located deceased,” a spokeswoman from WA Police said.

“Inquiries into the circumstances leading up to the child’s death are being undertaken.”

Both Police and St John Ambulance were called to the home.

No other information is available at this time.
