Homicide detectives are investigating whether domestic violence was involved in a suspected murder-suicide after two bodies were found at a suburban home on Sunday.
Police were called to a Perth home on Golf Links Drive in Carramar to conduct a welfare check and found the bodies of Mark, 64, and Lesley Stillman, 67 about 10.40am.
NCA NewsWire understands police are investigating a domestic violence link.
Detectives and forensic officers were seen at the home and canvassing the street on Monday as they carried out their investigation.
“Investigators can assure the community there are no concerns for the general public’s safety,” a police spokesperson said at the time.
The West Australian reports the pair, who had four children, were married but separated several years ago — though they were both living in the home.
One of the bodies was reportedly discovered inside the garage.
Ms Stillman was a volunteer with Guide Dogs WA and aged care provider Amana Living.
Both Mr Stillman and Ms Stillman were originally from Britain.
